The devoted fan of Cutler and Gross glasses and designer of luxury accessories Anya Hindmarch from Great Britain, collaborated on her fashion show with the Cutler and Gross brand. Luxury handmade sunglasses from the current collection adorned the faces of the beautiful models there.
The Cutler and Gross brand perceives its customers as individuals. Maybe this is why, in today’s world where there is an excess of brands, she is managing to not get lost in the crowd and remaining in demand among both the general public and also celebrities and famous faces from the world of fashion, art, design, music and film. The designer Anya Hindmarch herself owns several models and this is why collaboration was the natural outcome of their mutual relationship.
The luxury spring and summer collection is dominated by round frames with various colours of glass ranging from subtle blue to dark grey. The upper part of the frames is thicker and designed in a colour which merges with the colour of the glass. Orange, blue or green? All of the colours look cool and the glasses reflect a unique style underlined by a high level of craftsmanship.
During the campaign for this collection, the brand collaborated with the influential contemporary photographer Platon, who found fame with his unique photographs of American presidents and other world-famous personalities.
The winter collection on the contrary is represented by more robust square frames in black or shades of brown. The glasses are larger and you can see the legacy of the 60s there.
In the 1960s, people looked out at the world through round glasses which were used only as medical aids. The in 1969, Graham Cutler and Tony Gross established a brand offering people spectacle frames which started to also serve as fashion accessories. The luxury Cutler and Gross brand was born and won over customers the world over.
