1. Po strništi bos

Po strništi bos is a luxurious work of cinematography by director Jan Svěrák. The film takes place before the legendary film Obecná škola, which is highly popular among audiences to this day. These films, which concern Czech families, simply appeal to viewers and probably always will. This luxurious film was released in cinema just a few weeks ago, but is rising through the charts rapidly. Revenues have reached CZK 40,990,759 and 296,913 people have seen the film.

2. Dunkirk

Director Christopher Nolan has shown his skill once again. We are used to quality from him, but he has outdone himself this time. Dunkirk is a deluxe viewing experience. In addition to Holland, you can also see the genial Michael Keaton in the film as the villain Vulturo, who Peter as Spiderman is fighting against. So far, revenues have reached CZK 27,842,413, and according to the latest data 188,420 people have seen the film.

Dud of the summer

To conclude this article, let us mention a film that did not draw many viewers this summer, namely The Hitman’s Bodyguard by director Patrick Hughes. The main roles feature a couple of great stars – Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson – but the film, which premiered in the Czech Republic on 17 August, failed to attract many viewers. Its Czech revenues are only CZK 7,005,132 so far and it has been seen by only 49,363 viewers.
