Do you think that all luxury-brand models must automatically be a luxurious affair? We will correct your mistake here. The Milan Fashion Week offered several FW 18/19 collections that we would only put in the wardrobe of our worst enemy!
The Italian brand has shown what a luxury entertainment show is to look like and at the same time what fashion is not supposed to look like at all. The strange combinations, ugly fabrics, cuts, materials and patterns and hugely eccentric accessories took care of Gucci sovereignly winning the prize for the worst men's and women's collection. Not even mentioning the styling of some models. The model in a knitted pullover, checked trousers, with a moustache, sunglasses and scary hairstyle looks like someone from the 80's sentenced for abuse. Simply everything is wrong here!
Moncler presented several series of collections at the same time, which differ in style. They all have one thing in common; they are asexual - and totally unwearable. The models were dressed in monstrous coats reminiscent of play pieces from the Ludo board game, breeches one would wear expecting floods, or modern-day Darth Vader with strangely sticking-out applications quite similar to the vacuum cleaner hose - this is only a fraction of what Moncler presented.
The Marni FW 18/19 collection would be best immediately to be taken to the dustbin of history, or we could just pretend that it never happened at all. Wide pants, maxi throws, bulky bags, ugly vinyl. As much as we try we find it very hard to find anything in this collection that would be useful and fit to be worn.
Prada deserved its position in the worst collections of the Milan Fashion Week mainly by its vests and hats of neon colours that resemble luxury fishing outfits. Overall, actually, there is too much neon in the whole collection and some oversize pieces are really ugly affairs.

The above-mentioned fashion houses had one thing in common at the Milan Fashion Week. The fact that they presented one of their most disgusting collections EVER!!! The stitched-together giant fabrics combined create a look ´homeless on the move´. I do not very well understand why the fashion houses think that such work is sufficiently amazing to be able to show it to the world. Unfortunately it has happened.
The worst thing of all for me is the giant black Moncler goose-down jacket featuring kind of tubes reminiscent of feet of a dirty mite. The closed hood perfectly resembles one body orifice (which is that you can see for yourself in our photo gallery). The outfit would be best to be worn to a fancy dress party - one can go as a huge mite or a drains cleaning car. Choose yourself!
Gucci and his collection "worst third-country hospital", scarier than the horror film ´Hospital II´. My goodness, who wants to see men wearing scarves tied around their heads and clothing of washed off colours of outlandish cuts, is really beyond me. The icing on the cake was the moment when the catwalk started to be filled by models carrying copies of their own ´chopped off´ heads. HORROR!
And finally we have had the pleasure to see the tragicomic show of the Prada fashion house. The management must have realised that the whole of Europe is constantly preoccupied by the problem of car first aid boxes and therefore selected the main theme of the show “the main thing is not to be run over”. What is there to say: seriously, you would not go out wearing that voluntarily!
