Charismatic gunslingers, stylish accessories - hats, scarves, ties, belts, shoes and luxury shirts, checked or with animal motifs. The Canadian fashion designers, Dean and Dan Caten created a Western collection, which offers a look at modern-day gunslingers of 21st century. The mission seems clear: Gentlemen, pull out your tartan shirts and go and fetch the horses!
Collection that will transport you to the Wild West - that is how you could characterise the luxury collection FW 2018, which is full of Western elements, going back to the iconic items of a Dsquared2 wardrobe. Ripped jeans, leather trousers, tartan shirts, cowboy jackets and vests rich in non-traditional embellishments have become key in the creation of the luxurious men's collection.
The collection gives a free hand to shapes, layering as well as texture. Denim and leather trousers are high-waisted and shorter leg to let you see the luxurious cowboy boots that go hand in hand with a gunfighter´s image. Tough guys from the modern Wild West wear stylish shirts and over those overcoats and jackets of fur or leather.
FW 2018 is certainly a breath of fresh air in the era of genderless collections, which are definitely on the raise. Rough style of 21st century gunfigthters has its charm, charisma and on the catwalk it looks great. But the question remains whether these luxurious and atypical pieces will be worn also by someone other than just enthusiasts of a North-American rodeo.
I as horsey girl I simply love this! Jeans, tie, a hat or leather trousers is all so sexy and mainly super-manly (except those sequins here and there - that is terrible)! The only shame is that the catwalk was full of such thin boys, this work deserves to be presented by proper men!
I love the brown coat with sheepskin lining. Not only is it warm, but it will go with almost everything, where jeans would be part of the outfit. I think it would be also suitable as a gift. Then I also completely fell in love with the model with a red tartan shirts with elements of denim material, leather trousers with tassels, a black satin tie and a black cowboy hat...awesome! Do you know, it has always been my secret dream that a similarly dressed cowboy throws me into a haystack...I don´t need to go into details, do I? Seriously, this collection is amazing and even I would not be afraid of it at all!!!
I understand that in Prague one cannot really go to work and business meetings in a cowboy outfit, but you could simply choose a couple of appropriate pieces here and combine them cleverly. Torn jeans, the black studded coat or the mid-thigh white shirt! I already know what to give my husband for his birthday…
