When looking at past collections from foreign Fashion Weeks it is almost as if the creative directors of the men’s collections went mad. But not Giorgio Armani. The designer did not submit to all sorts of trends and created a fairly classic but amazing FW 2018 collection. It looks as if it came from the wardrobe of the next agent 007!
A secret mission in the mountains, a deluxe dinner, a leisurely style with the goal of getting lost in the crowd, to an event requiring the strictest dress code, hidden behind sunglasses and intellectual style glasses or just before a dramatic response while wearing leather gloves. There are innumerable scenarios in which we see the next James Bond in deluxe Giorgio Armani FW 2018 models.
Essential items for every Bond, and they should also be essential items for every man. A high quality dinner jacket, suits and jackets. Without these 007 would hardly be a charismatic agent, who only has to look at women and they fall at his feet. These are the models created by Giorgio Armani for his autumn collection and so you certainly have something to choose from!
You can find other items and not only formal clothing in the deluxe FW 2018 collection. Fans of the leisure and sports styles will also find something to wear. The collection contains trendy bomber jackets, sports trousers with wide legs, knitted pullovers, sleeveless vests, comfortable shoes or practical bags.
Elegance, masculinity, practicability, beauty, luxury, quality – this is the secret to the fashion ingredients that Giorgio Armani has used to create one of the best men’s autumn collections for 2018.
The creative crew at Armani has finally realised that collections of the “let’s make a phosphor suit with a fountain” type and other idiocies will not work. And so I can enjoy some stylish testosterone for a change.
The grey sweater with a peaked lapel jacket on top, with a completely folded under bottom section, loose trousers and semi-elegant-hiking shoes. This model appears to define a new era of men’s fashion, which I very much enjoy. And with regard to the new way of wearing a jacket: original! Unfortunately, we can only hope that we will see something similar on the streets in Prague, because it took fifteen years for instance for men to realise that pink polo shirts or sweaters are not worn by just gays.
What disappointed me on the other hand was the tracksuit trousers worn with jackets. Comfort is one thing, but an immaculate sexy model on the runway is another and a normal man in a tracksuit with a jacket and case in his hand, in the middle of Národní třída for instance, is yet another. I say NO.
