“I decided to dedicate this collection to my old friend. The last time he was in Milan, he performed here.” Donatella Versace
Keith Flint ended his life early this March. To commemorate him, the designer brought elements of punk and typical colorful mohawks to the collection!
Following the example of singer Keith Flint, Donatella Versace has added luxury leather shorts with metal studs to the SS 2020 collection. Though they are not for everyone, stubborn punks will surely love these!
The collection also includes tie-dye T-shirts and sweatshirts with the Versace brand luxury logo, which evokes the flower movement or lively leopard pattern pieces.
But the animal pattern is not the only wilderness that Donatella Versace will put on you! Lurex is on the scene! If you buried this key material of 1980s discotheques deep into the closet, you can dust it off again - it's a hot hit!
Is this your case? If you are more rough, then you will enjoy luxury biker jackets and car motifs. Versace's permanent associate, artist Andy Dixon, is behind them.
Donatella Versace unveiled the men's SS 2020 collection to the world in a show full of abundance. The same can be said about the choice of materials and wild combinations.
If the designer didn't reveal that it was a tribute to the Prodigy singer, it all seems to me as if the 90's hipster and a fan of Lunetic and Nirvana were mixed into one. Tie-dye shorts and a half-cowboy jacket in a leopard pattern combined with black working boots/sneakers is too much for me. If I saw someone dressed in the street like that, I would think he's more of a loser.
The only thing that doesn't bother me at first, is the luxurious oversize silk ensembles with loose shorts with iconic Versace décor. Beach boy = Playboy!
