Ice Age Village

We know it’s not ideal, but sometimes it’s handy to have a tablet to keep a restless child entertained. It comes in particularly handy when travelling, whether in a car or by public transit. Luxury Prague Life has compiled a chart of applications which will keep your child busy, and teach them something at the same time!

Ice Age Village

As you may have guessed, this is a variation on the luxurious animated film Ice Age. In the app, we gradually meet all the main characters, namely the mammoth Manny, the sloth Sid, the sabre-tooth tiger Diego and the squirrel Scrat. The goal in this game is to build a village for all the animals that have lost their home, because Scrat (who else, right?) managed to create a crack in the Earth’s crust. Throughout the game, the child has to perform various tasks. If your kids like Ice Age, they will love this game.

Soundtouch

This luxury application is definitely intended for the smallest. It contains images of animals, household items, tools and means of transport. After pressing any of these, a real picture / photo of the given item or animal appears and the mobile or tablet plays back the authentic sound made by the item / animal. This is a highly educative game, so if you give it to your kid, you don’t have to feel guilty for not paying attention to it. After all, the child is not just playing with a tablet, but is learning. Luxurious, don’t you think?

Angry Birds

This is a luxurious classic. We can honestly say from our own experience that every child will be entertained by this game. It’s not that difficult and it has two luxurious features – first of all it will keep the child entertained by having to eliminate something, and secondly it is not just a simple “massacre” – the game also improves motor activity. The point in the game is for the player to use the birds available to them to knock down a group of pigs, dispersed across the playing field. The birds are shot from a slingshot, which the player must set to make the bird fly along the optimal trajectory. So the child is in fact practicing mathematics as well! For this reason, the game is more suitable for children aged six or more.
