It’s not just a passion, but above all a lifestyle for the most hard-core motorbikers. Every man wants one, every man desires one. Next year, motorcycle icon Harley Davidson will be celebrating its 115th anniversary in Prague.
In 1903, twenty-three-year-old William Harley and his twenty-two-year-old friend Arthur Davidson decided to establish a motorcycle company. They invited Walter and William Davidson to join the venture. In two years, they managed to manufacture six types of motorcycles, which became popular not just in sports, but also among the police and armed forces. During the Second World War, 90,000 luxurious Harley-Davidson motorcycles were produced.
The popularity of motorcycles increased rapidly, so it is no surprise that next year, this luxurious motorcycle giant will be celebrating 115 years. From 5 to 8 July 2018, the brand will be celebrating its anniversary in the Czech capital. The organisers had considerable demands and are apparently looking forward to high participation. Everybody in the Czech Republic, where Harley Davidson enjoys an extensive tradition, can participate in the joyride through Prague and luxurious historical exhibition of 150 brand-name motorcycles. The country is also home to the oldest Harley Davidson Club in the world, which has existed for over 90 years, which is why the capital city is the right choice for the party. The second site of the celebrations is the American city of Milwaukee, the birthplace of H-D, from 30 August to 3 September 2018.
She is beautiful, rich and loves Harley Davidson, which is proven by the fact that she has four of these machines in her garage. We are speaking about the creative director of Harley Davidson fashion collections and face of the brand, great-granddaughter of the founder, Karen Davidson. She studied fashion design in New York and has partaken in the creation of all the motorcycle fashion collections since 1989, having also won a prestigious award.
Harley Davidson is not particularly keen on new trends, or introducing novelties one after another. But when it decides to do so, it’s worth it. The Next Custom Revolution presents a luxurious and revolutionary change: suspension, frame and strong engines. The merging of the Dyna and Softail models are the main news for 2018. Another interesting novelty for next year is that for the first time in history, some models will not have the classic dials, but just a small display on the handlebars. As of last year, the luxury brand also started offering more affordable models, which are easily accessible for young people. The Street 750 can be had from just 178,000 CZK or the Street Rod 750 from 223,000 CZK.
