Maxi dresses remain on course for this season, too, turning their wearers into romantic, ethereal fairies, who are at the same time aware of their assets. Boho style is also beginning to favour a shorter look and luxury designers come with a plethora of mini versions or innovative and modern elements.
The kings of boho style have become Dolce & Gabbana, Anna Sui and Etro
The leaders of boho style for the SS18 season have become the Italian fashion houses of Dolce & Gabbana, Etro and the American Anna Sui. The Dolce & Gabbana collection consists of airy maxi dresses of vibrant colours and striking motifs. Apart from romantic flowers it also includes prints of wild zebra stripes or playing cards. Yes, boho style can look like that, too!
Don an Anna Sui dress for a festivals, you will be a star!
The SS 2018 Etro collection consists mainly of maxi pieces with paisley pattern, but there are also a few ultra minis which will allow your curves to stand out. And for a change, luxurious Anna Sui comes with stylish shorts, tops and boots which will turn you into a perfect star of any festival!
Also Elie Saab or Emilio Pucci enthusiasts have something to look forward to.
Lovers of other brands will have something to choose from, too. Bohemian element was was introduced into their collections also by other luxury brands, such as Elie Saab, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Pinko, Escada, Emilio Pucci, Altuzarra, Michael Kors or Hermès.

As far as I am concerned, boho style simply does not have one solid definition or a rule, and actually the designers do not adhere to one either. And perhaps this is precisely the reason why I became a boho style enthusiast myself, too.
Surprisingly, the nicest pieces are not offered by Etro, but by my favourite, Elie Saab. The green dress in the form of leaves held together by black stripes and an extremely deep neckline literally get my juices going. It is just a pity that my greater assets would in this case be more like a disadvantage. My next frontrunner is also the brand of Emilio Pucci and its maxi dress originally decorated on the sides. In my opinion the ideal piece for a walk in the centre of Prague finished off by an early dinner on the terrace of Herget´s Brick Factory. Can you too envisage the sunset over Charles Bridge?
Unfortunately the dress, which, perhaps as the only one, was a complete disappointment to me, is the one by Marc Jacobs. Green hallucinogenic disco crowned by a turban? This is not really boho, but Africa. One could put it on to go to some street market in central Ethiopia but the rest of the world? I will be cruel here and say NO!
