"New trend", a phrase which gives some of us goosebumps. This time, it would be fairly justified, because socks in conjunction with boots sounds horrific, even without a visualization.
To tell you the truth, I really liked the claret ankle boots by Valentino at first sight. But then I realized the fact that just one small shower or a mini puddle on the sidewalk and I would have wet shoes. For Central Europeans they are absolutely inappropriate and useless. Then we also have the all-sock black boats with the VLTN abbreviation…an even worse alternative for me. In addition, they look cheap and would match only a tracksuit.
On the other hand, I like Givenchy's sneakers, where the sock is turned into a shin sock. In this direction I give the green light because it is very sexy and in the 6th grade I personally started this trend at school!!! And guess what, it lasted another two seasons. I bet shoes that this is going to be a hit now!
