In the summer the air is full of desire and joy, in winter we are tempted by the warmth of our dear half. In Prague there are many luxurious places where you can walk. Romance on the Vltava River or perhaps a hill, from which our capital offers the most beautiful views. Where is it?
The Petřín Viewing Tower is of course the first thing we all come up with. However you don't have to push along the tourists onto the tower, just take a walk in the Petřín orchards which are considered to be a place created for love.
Right next to Prague Castle at Hradčanské náměstí square there is a place offering beautiful views of the city centre. You can walk here in the direction from Pohořelec, enjoy stunning views of mother Prague and continue along the châteaux steps or Neruda´s Street down toward the Malostranské náměstí square. A luxurious walk as romantic as can be!
The place at the Metronome or the summer garden near the National Agricultural Museum are also ideal for observation of Prague from a height. Letenské sady is a beautiful park ideal for a luxury walk in two. Get warm and have a hot cup of tea or tea and rum punch and a winter picture of Prague will be perfect!
A beautiful spot where you can go for a walk, look at Prague from bird's eye perspective and even visit one of the largest equestrian sculptures is the Vítkov mountain in Žižkově. A pleasant café offering panoramic views is usually opened inside the monument where if you can get away from the frosty weather, get warm and have a little bite of something delicious.
One of the most popular locations of Prague-dwellers is Vyšehrad with its dominant feature of the Church of St Peter and Paul. Not only that you can visit the resting place of many a famous person of our country, Vyšehrad offers views and beautiful romantic walks.
And when you´ve had your share of fresh air, walk down into the buzzing metropolis and stop off somewhere for a luxurious Valentine's Day dinner!
