The precise design or features of the new hypercar are not known yet. Concept Two: a fine-tuned improvement over the Concept One, faster than the Tesla Roadster

Based on available information, the car will be equipped with 120 kWh batteries – 82 kWh more than Concept One, which was the fastest electric car in the world at the time of its reveal. The new car will aim at superseding not only its younger brother but also the Tesla Roadster, which currently holds the title of fastest electric car in the world.

To do so, the Concept Two will need to reach 60 km/h in 1.9 seconds, a maximum speed greater than 250 miles/hour, and should also be able to travel at least 600 miles without recharging. More information about the car’s autonomous functions will become available in Geneva soon.

In any case, don’t expect to run into this luxurious hypercar this year. It is only expected to reach the public market sometime in the next decade.

What the Concept One offered

Concept One was designed to make full use of the advantages of an electric car in order to create a supercar for the 21st century. Its unique engine has 4 subsystems, each consisting of a separate electric drive unit with an independent transmission and motor for each wheel. This means that each wheel can be controlled separately. The frontal motors are equipped with a single-action transmission, while the back motors have a dual-action transmission on each side.

The luxurious car uses a simple and yet timeless design for both its exterior and cockpit.

Not the last time we hear of Rimac Automobili

Rimac is a Croatian brand which, among others, also produces batteries for Koenigsegg and, in the near future, also for Aston Martin. But not only that: it is considered a promising manufacturer of luxurious supercars of the future!
