The sixth annual international tournament, Prague Polo Cup 2018, is one of the greatest social events of the season. The tournament takes place every year with the support of the world's most prestigious as well as local brands and belongs to the most stylish of events. In luxurious environment you can traditionally see beautifully dressed women and elegantly attired gentlemen. Who was the brightest star of the event this year?
The luxurious social event was attended by Eliška Dospivová with daughters, founder of the agency Stars Events, Janina Šlemínová, fashion designer Natali Ruden and designer Lukáš Lindner, CEO of outdoor akzent, Kamila Mortimer, wife of Robert Coin, Pilar Coin, boutique manager of the Roberto Coin brand, Zuzana Petáková, and blogger Ina T.
This year the polo cup took place in the beautiful environment of the Levín u Benešova farm and we must say that the atmosphere was perfect. Part of the tournament was also the traditional replacing of divots, with the participation of many women but men also. A competition was held for the most beautiful hat; and there were plenty to be seen! Of course, such event has a predetermined dress code. How did the famous personalities adapt to it?
Beautiful Eliška Dospivová showed that she has a passion for bolder outfits. She wore a light dress with vents and bare back by Michael Kováčik. This she accessorised by a beautiful boa and a flower fascinator. Her two daughters were dressed in the same style, perfectly complementing each other and Eliška, too, so that everyone knew to whom the girls belong.
Fashion designer Natali Ruden as always dazzled in clothes from her own boutique. The elegant off-the-shoulder dress was accessorised by a black belt and a beautiful fascinator.
One of the best-dressed men was fashion designer, Lukáš Lindner, who has specially created a double-breasted jacket of English style with houndstooth for this occasion. He supplemented the outfit by a luxury Tonak hat and beautiful patent-leather shoes.
For this occasion, Kamila Mortimer put on a simple black overall which she accessorised by a luxury hat from the workshop of hat designer, Jolana Kotábová, matching it with her sunglasses and the luxury Chanel handbag of the same colour. She said that recently she doesn´t feel like high heels and wore to the event comfortable luxury sneakers by Louis Vuitton which matched the outfit perfectly.
This is exactly how we envisage a true lady at horse polo. Owner of the Stars Events agency, Janina Šlemínová, put on a luxury long red skirt, which she complemented by a simple white shirt, a decorated handbag and an extravagant hat. She looked fantastic in the outfit!
As one of the few at the event, women from the Roberto Coin boutique showed up at the event in your trousers, and we must say that it was a great success. Boutique manager, Zuzana Petáková, put on a La Perla suit with floral applications, an elegant hat and black Chanel sunglasses. And we have to say that she looked fantastic. And Pilar Coin looked stunning in her beautiful coloured outfit.
Ina belongs among the most extravagant women of Czech society which she confirmed in a subtle manner also at this polo event. Her whole outfit was adapted to the bold fascinator so that it would stand out and not compete with anything else. For the black dress by Karen Millen she therefore chose only a subtle handbag which she matched with patent leather high heels.
The billionaire´s ex-wife arrived at the polo tournament pulling out all the stops. The emphasis on creating a luxury impression was great, but it was a success. The peach dress with splits and exposed back by Michael Kováčik, supplemented by a boa and a fascinator with a giant flower were somewhat reminiscent of the First Czechoslovak Republic era. What I would certainly have changed, is the hair style, as this bun makes Mrs Dospivová´s face seem rounder.

Natali Ruden looked stunning in a dress of her own making. The overall impression as well as the individual accessories turned her into a queen of the afternoon. Just by her small Dior handbag and the buttoning of her dress she became for me a small lady Dior. Simply beautiful!

The absolute best man for me was definitely young designer, Lukáš Lindner. His double-breasted English-style jacket of houndstooth, a luxurious Tonak hat and stylish patent leather shoes get full marks. This is exactly how I would like to see men dressed in the streets. A beautiful idea.
The suit: 100 %
Kamila Mortimer chose a black overall, accompanied by a bold blue hat from the workshop of hat designer, Jolana Kotábová, stylish pilot sunglasses and a Chanel handbag. The only thing I had any reservations about was the choice of her footwear. Sneakers by Louis Vuitton could be tolerated with view of the latest trends. But what I do not understand is that their shade. Really brown to go with a black-blue model? Perhaps not!

Owner of the Stars Events agency, Janina Šlemínová, put on a luxury long red skirt, which she complemented by a simple white shirt, a round handbag and a hat reminiscent of the 19th century. To be honest, I love her simple hair style and essentially no make-up. Quite a pleasant refreshment in the flood of artificial eyelashes.

The boutique manager of one of the most luxurious shops in Prague 1, Roberto Coin, put on a beautiful La Perla suit with floral applications which suited her very well. I am not very certain; however, that the model suited the giant hat which she chose. Here it would be perhaps more suitable to reach for a more updated version of hats that we can nowadays see for instance in the royal family in Great Britain. Simple shapes accompanied by fine applications would certainly suit this lady! Black Chanel ballerina shoes are elegant, but a pair of nice high heels would be more chic still.

Ina T. chose a subdued dress by Karen Millen, which she accompanied by a pair of nude high heels and a kind of peacock fascinator. I know that that was what was to draw the greatest deal of attention, but in my opinion, it was over the top. Once again, we can see here that Czech women still struggle with a choice of a hat or a beret. And to be honest, Inna was very lucky that no horse kicked her somewhere into the thicket, because this hat must have frightened even the poor daughter of Eliška Dospivová.
