The Courchevel ski resort has 63 lifts and 117 slopes with a total length of 150 km. Two thirds of the area of these slopes are maintained every evening during high season. It is precisely here that races in the Alpine Skiing World Cup are held.
Courchevel 1850 is the luxury jewel in the crown of the whole Les Trois Vallées area and is by far the largest resort and a prestigious place to take a winter holiday. As is evident from its name, this is a resort which is located at a height of 1,850 metres above sea level. Those who want to see and be seen come here! There are lots of luxurious chalets here to spend a luxurious holiday in. The remote Jardin Alpin part is millionaire class with luxury accommodation and extremely expensive hotels hidden among trees, providing the sought-after illusion of privacy. No exception to the rule here are hotel wellness centres with water slides, waterfalls, saunas, steam spas or a climbing wall.
You can enjoy shopping in the covered shopping mall in expensive boutiques and supermarkets, thanks to which the local chefs are able to prepare the choicest of delicacies in the luxury restaurants in the resort.
Thanks to the unique system of lifts which connects Meribel and Val Thorens, guests can take advantage of access to one of the most interesting and extensive ski resorts in the world.
There are however more ski centres in the extensive resort, but these are located at a lower altitude and have nowhere near as luxurious a reputation as Courchevel 1850. Nevertheless, they represent a much nicer destination for a lot of visitors and offer just as much winter fun as the luxury centre.
Courchevel 1650 is located 200 lower down and the prices of everything are also lower, including accommodation. Courchevel 1550 is located further from the ski resort and Le Praz 1300 is a beautiful and traditional village with luxurious chalets.
