Perfect Transformation of Marni. The SS19 Collections is Breathtaking!
Milan revealed a new direction
After oversize models, which are traditionally bulky, suppressing feminine curves, shocking, or evoking the ´homeless look´ have disappeared without trace. During the Milan fashion week, creative director of Marni, Francesco Risso, presented the SS19 collections, which surpassed all expectations and showed that the luxury brand of Marni really can understand women.

Sophisticated elegance in combination with playfulness
Frankly, we stopped believing that the day would come when we could praise the luxury brand of Marni and nod our heads in respectful approval. The prolonged absence of femininity and elegance drove away our illusions of any change for the better, but lo and behold, here it is! Welcome the sophisticated elegance in combination with typical Marni playfulness.
You will not find any high heels in the SS19
The luxurious fashion show was opened by a cream midi dress with ruching along with an original handbag with two pockets and pointy-toed moccasins. The absence of high heels was apparent in the entire fashion show, instead featuring sandals, slippers or just stylishly-decorated moccasins.
There is one questionable piece in the divine Marni SS19 collection nevertheless…
In addition to the divine midi dresses of bold patterns and ruched elegant skirts the Italian brand pleasantly surprised by delivering luxurious coats underlining feminine silhouette. However, it would not be Marni if there wouldn´t be some extravagant piece lurking about, too.
Embellishments of the breasts? A non-starter!
On the catwalk appeared dresses with shoulder straps with obscure applications on the breasts, which really failed to impress us - at least not in a good way. If the objective of Marni was sophistication, the result failed to have the desired effect. These models left behind a great question mark and therefore we prefer to skip this step, move on, and enjoy viewing that part of the luxury collection which really excited us.

The big surprise at Marni SS 19!
The fact that Marni finally flattered the female figure is one thing, but the other, essential one is, that it is a collection from which spring/summer simply radiates!
At first glance I fell for that pure white combination and irregular blue blooms. It is so tender and subtly interesting that everyone simply has to fall in love with it. And ever since I was a little girl, I have always thought; there are never enough blue flowers. And therefore, the combination of the coat and a skirt of the same pattern definitely doesn´t seem over the top to me. On the contrary, it is fresh and totally divine! For business meetings (obviously in place of the brassiere a basic white top) and everyday stress and bustle this is the ideal choice. At any meeting or office, I would sometimes look down and examine the beautiful, stunning pattern, which would put a smile on my face - every time.
But it would not be really Marni if we did not come across some strange stuff. I personally put into this section that model consisting of a long orange skirt, silver slippers and a leather corset reminiscent of armour. If it were not, at least, a corset of leather in the style of Xena and or singer Ruslana, it would be different straight away. Because this nude-colour piece is perhaps only suitable as a uniform for the post mortem table - PAY BEWARE OF RED SPLASHES!
