The world is going to be rescued again, this time with the Czech song Snad jednou ti dám playing in the background. The new Spider-Man will feature, among others, music from the Czechoslovak band The Matadors, which significantly influenced the Prague rock scene in the second half of the 1960s.
The new film made Czech fans of cult bands happy. Several Czech and Slovak songs can be heard in the film. The filming took places at several locations in Prague: the Vinohrady Theater, the Opera House, the Municipal House, the Carlo IV Hotel, the Charles Bridge, Kampa, the Rudolfinum, and the Townhall Stairs. In addition to Prague, on can also spots scenes from the brewery in Kostelec nad Černými lesy and from the Edvard Beneš square in Liberec in the movie.
