Ornella Koktová couldn’t miss the luxury fashion show of the latest collection by the famous Pietro Filipi brand, and she is the one who reviewed it for you. So, what was it like?
The 5th floor of the Kotva shopping center, where the Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week takes place, reverberated with aggressive music resembling the hard mornings of the miners in Dukla. Then the lights went on and the FW19 Pietro Filipi fashion show began!
I’ve been a fan of the Czech brand Pietro Filipi for many years. Quality materials with perfect processing that last for years! I’ve kept one luxurious black top from 2011 myself and it's still in perfect condition. That might be why I was so excited to see what they’d come up with at the Prague Fashion Week.
A flood of gray mixed with loose belts and the like, that’s how the show began. I found it very uninspiring. But then the bright double-breasted jackets came! I was especially interested in the pure creamy one and I am convinced that I’d 100% find use for it! An ideal piece to match with virtually anything.
But, on the other hand, what I see as a huge mistake is the gray dress in a weird mousy shade with a floppy beige waistband. Personified DEPRESSION. I haven't seen anything so sad in a long time. Let’s rather stick with the rich colors...
In the winter, the navy blue trend flourishes every year. It is therefore not a big surprise that this color also appeared in the new Pietro Filipi collection. A trendy long-sleeved dress with an asymmetrical skirt, a classic coat for everyday wear, or a luxurious trouser suit cinched to perfection with a beige belt. Don’t be afraid of this minimalist concept of ocean blue, because you can't go wrong with it!
