Whoever loves minimalism and extravagance was satisfied. Will a luxury pillow become a part of our clothing? Imagine a pillow on your back that is attached to the vest. The intention was probably to imitate a backpack. The advantage is that you can lie down and relax wherever you want. The designs contained asymmetric minimalist shapes or pieces of cloth that looked as if they were casually thrown on, and did not cover many parts of the body.
An interesting feature was sleeves that covered and simultaneously replaced shoes, which looked modern and very compact.
If you like clothes in which you are impossible to overlook, you will surely enjoy the incredibly ruffled blazers, coats, dresses with fringing. I cant help but make a comparison with Droběna from the Czech version of Cinderella in a more modern way rendition, because it was the first thing that came to my mind at that moment. Very striking! Everyone will notice you and you will definitely stand out in a crowd.
If you are not afraid to show more of your skin, a long flowing fine translucent material, like a spider web with small sequins reflecting light rays, or transparent plastic could be your choice. Just be careful what you wear under it.
The prestigious Studio of Fashion Design at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague has been bringing up the elite of the Czech luxury fashion scene since its founding in 1949. Currently, under the leadership of M.A. Pavel Ivančic, it emphasizes the support of the development of students as complex professional personalities with a strong individual designer identity.
First of all, I have to say that I am very fond of the way my generation perceives fashion, which will one day take over the main in our Czech fashion sandbox (and maybe even elsewhere in the world). It is clear at first glance that people from UMPRUM know how to play with the mind of their potential customer. That is, how to combine a practical wearable fashion with total uncontrolled extravagance. Yes, it's surprising, but surprisingly it CAN BE DONE!
I was fascinated by the dress made of a stronger cloth that was cleverly attached around the neck with an elegant string. Along with perfectly matching slippers, fine make-up and smooth hair. The perfect affair for walking around the French Riviera colonnade. BRAVO!
Of course, there are also missteps, for example, in the form of a long-sleeved dress that resembles a used toilet roll. Certainly it was just an attempt to grab the attention of the guests, but I was rather amused.
