What to visit and how not to get lost?

The capital city is the famous Bogota. The most beautiful part of this city is the historic quarter of La Candelaria and Plaza Bolivar square. If you love historic buildings, you will be delighted, as this district radiates the history of the colonial era. You will find deluxe colourful houses sparkling into the distance and abounding with a varied palette of colours in the La Candelaria district and in the city of Cartegana. Even the local churches are worth noticing, their beautiful decorative and deluxe appearance is evidence of the costly care and attention the local people devote to the remains of the past era. Another deluxe and interesting place is the Museum of Gold, which boasts a collection of 30,000 gold items. Chiribiquete, the biggest tropical national part in the world, is also located in Colombia.

The country operates in the wild rhythm of the salsa

A lost city in the mountain jungle

The lost city or Terrazas Ciudad Pérdida is the most important pre-Columbian historical monument in Colombia. It is located deep in the jungle in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta national park The city was evidently established in 800, but it was only discovered in 1972. It consists of an ancient complex of 169 stone terraces with steps and buildings on the peaks of the mountains. The individual monuments are interlinked by a network of paved roads.

After a strenuous adventure you can enjoy some proper relaxation on deluxe Caribbean beaches of Playa Los Angeles, Costena or Casa Grande.
