In 2016, a stunning space on the roof was opened, the luxurious wooden zeppelin Gulliver (architect Martin Rajniš) where readings, discussions and other literature programs are held. This year, DOX will get a luxury hall.

A multifunctional space for concerts, dance and cinema

This year's expansion of DOX was taken care of by the studio Petr Hájek architects. It is a top-notch multifunctional hall called DOX +. It has a capacity of up to 700 people and will serve as a theater and dance area with a cinema and conference room, with the possibility of organizing concerts. Starting this year, the theater ensemble "Farm in the Cave", led by director Viliam Dočolomanský, will be based here.

The new DOX + hall is complemented by a luxuriously refurbished 6-storey building in Poupětova street, which serves as an operational base, and the private university ARCHIP is located on three floors.

The marble table captivated us with its majesty and very strange atypical dimensions, where perhaps no side was the same. The feeling of luxury was enhanced by a golden leg that majestically supported the table.

Luxury bedrooms require a luxury bed. There were many pieces of bedroom furniture to see, whether it be beds, tabourets, tables thought-out to the slightest detail. Beds with huge headboards that fulfill the function of comfort and are a gorgeous design element in themselves are still popular.

What put a smile on our faces?

We will tell you about a luxurious detail that did not leave us cold, it awakened sympathy and praiseful laughter. The big chandelier that every single one of you would like to own, and which would be the luxurious dominating feature of the living room, was hiding a secret. Upon closer examination, you will see porcelain gymnasts who look more like the letter S. You have no idea how demanding it must be to constantly hang in such a position. They are wonderfully sophisticated, polished, and they definitely received a thumbs up from us!
