As could be expected, during the celebration of such a great anniversary, Jeremy Scott spent some time by reviewing all of his preceding collections, drawing inspiration from them. His faithful customers certainly recognised his favourite pieces with rough caricatures, above-the-knee boots and other characteristic articles. To go through everything he has already created was quite difficult for him and one cannot be surprised when he just before the show commented:
"It was a difficult process."
Unfortunately, however, we must say that the effort he put into it was not quite so obvious; all his collections are luxurious and the new SS 2018 is no different.
Playfulness, that we enjoy
It is clear that he was also quite entertained in the creation of the luxury collection. Many of the pieces are damaged, torn and there are caricatures on the jeans. Luxury and sparkling rhinestones decorate the beautiful dresses and create an effect of original necklaces. If you are lovers of a novel style with an idea then you will adore Jeremy´s collection at first sight. The collection is full of colours, interesting materials, cuts and fun elements. Crazy combinations of materials, but also luxurious elegance
The luxury collection SS 2018 is definitely not boring, because so many colours in one place can be seen only rarely. Colourful dresses combined with striking shoes and handbags will delight any young woman. An exclusive piece here are above-the-knee boots with snake pattern in neon-coloured shades that will add zing to any outfit. We were impressed by the combination of simple fabrics with netting strewn with rhinestones which looks original and any woman in this outfit will turn into a star. The model of indomitable army girl with above-the-knee boots, shorts, corset and frilly "veil" in camouflage design in combination with black is truly spectacular.

I would give him just a ´pass´ mark!
Basically, I do not know the work of Jeremy Scott at all. Today I understand one of the reasons why this is the case. According to his last collection which to my total surprise celebrates 20 years since its inception, I would give him just a ´pass´ mark. It is terrible!!!
Ogres, plastic stones, idiotic sweatshirts that are impossible to wear (that cut? Even to write SMS messages is it would irritate me) and everywhere you look, there is the military theme?! Jeremy should pick himself up and reflect a bit. How can he celebrate his brand by creating a collection costing not a little money that in the end looks like a complete imitation of clothes from cheap shops such as Tally Weil or Kenvelo? After all, just go through one shopping centre!
As far as I am concerned, only one piece here is wearable from the entire collection. That is the white mini dress with white sleeves on the forearm, musketeer-style lace-up boots and the giant silver necklace that resembles the body of a snake. Clearly, it is impractical for everyday occasions but on the other hand it is the only positive glimmer from all of it. However, I would not buy anything from this designer....not even mentioning his shares!
