His art is unique, timeless and its installation is often very unusual. Not everyone dares to present their art directly on the snow – in a ski resort and on slopes. Yet that is exactly where Richard Orlinski presents his luxurious statues, on the slopes of one of the most beautiful winter resorts in Europe – Courchevel.
He often choose rich colors for his statues. This time it’s dark red, which forms a perfect contrast to the bright white snow. His mountain series is called Born Wilde and includes for example a larger-than-life gorilla and dinosaur. Regardless of whether it represents the untamed power of large mountains, wild nature, or the courage needed for a wild ride on skis, it creates an amazing winter dominant of the luxurious modern Courchevel resort.
Richard Orlinski is one of the best-selling contemporary French artists. One of his works of art was appraised at an incredible 680 000 Eur.
