Czech Press Photo: a Year in Pictures
The exhibit will be open until the end of January 2018 and the pictures reflect the recent events in the Czech Republic and abroad. This prestigious competition was entered by 482 photographers with a total of 7,277 pictures. The video section received 56 videos by 26 authors.
The luxurious photographs will remind you about important events, both domestic and international. These include problems in the Middle East or changes in Turkey. Other pictures represent environments and topics you might not have heard before. Another integral section of the exhibit consists of luxurious sports photographs and unbelievable pictures of animals.

The photographs capture the current world as seen and experienced by photographers. Interesting categories include Everyday Life, Lifestyle or Culture. The exhibit features also several video screenings. Altogether this creates a truly exceptional cultural experience.
Every year, one picture wins the Czech Press Photo competition. This year the winner was Hezbollah, celebrations of the victory over Israel by Martin Bandžák.
