The area at the tennis courts on Štvanice island was overwhelmed on Saturday 2 September during the Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week with a concert of colour and prints. Spring and summer of next year as presented by the luxury fashion brand Alter Era will play out in a novel spirit which could be reminiscent of the style of the 70s, a style which is currently making a comeback on the global catwalks.

Colours and luxury prints: Alter Era knows how to do these

The brand established in 2015 is characterised by liveliness, colourfulness, use of patterns and interesting prints. The luxurious new Spring/Summer 2018 collection is no different, again thrilling fans of prints and colours.

The creative design duo does in any event use a lot of colours. Whereas their collection for this summer succumbed to a combination in particular of red and white, the next season will be dominated by blue, deep yellow, burgundy and black. These will be shown in interesting geometric patterns and colour contrasts.

The style of Alter Era could be called luxuriously strict and elegant. You would be wasting your time looking for plunging necklines, short skirts and extravagant translucent materials in the clothing offered by this brand. The new collection is dominated by trouser suits, straight dresses and elegant skirts.

Nehera SS 2018, MBPFW

Despite the fact that this is a Czechoslovak brand, introduction of the Nehera band took place in Paris. The brand presented what lies slumbering within it on 3 September this year on an improvised catwalk at the tennis courts on Štvanice island, this time to the Czech public.

The Nehera brand is garnering success past the borders of the Czech Republic, but you can also purchase its unique items of clothing in the luxury Blackout store in Prague. Come with us and have a look at the brand’s Spring/ Summer 2018 collection, which is characterised by its innovative approach to new styles and materials.

Nehera presented a stylish and “uncluttered” collection

Luxury natural materials and simplicity could be the motto for the new collection. The timeless combination of black, white and beige was absolutely dominant. The luxury items were in particular made up of white shirts, linen trousers and leather jackets in a very simple and casual style. Their design referenced the simplicity of the countryside and the purity of nature.

The history of Nehera reaches all the way back to the 1930s!

Although the brand has been known to us since 2014, its history actually reaches back much further. It was established in the 1930s in what was at that time Czechoslovakia by the entrepreneurial visionary Jan Nehera. Branches of this luxury clothing business were opened all over the world, including countries such as Africa and the USA. Nobody knows the advertising slogan “Nehera knows how to make great clothing” anymore these days, but in the past, this was a famous sentence which simply put was true to the words it contained.

The luxury brand was successfully resurrected in 2014, inspired by the work of its predecessor. Nowadays, the brand is once again utilising the timeless heritage of the Slovak and Czech workshops which were originally founded by Jan Nehera. The brand is international in nature and collaborates with external foreign designers.
