You probably know the fashion advice about what, when, where and how to dress for a beautiful wedding, a luxurious party or just for going to town. Also one of those who responds or brings the most hot tips and tricky answers to similar questions in women’s magazines is the sympathetic Monika Koblížková. Thanks to her charm and personality, two years ago she managed to capture the heart of our best moderator, Leoš Mareš.

Apparently Koblížková has been preparing for the Karlovy Vary festival for several months and has left nothing to chance. This beauty who has her own style has shown us how the Czech Cinderella can be transformed into an irresistible star. She also has a good influence on her partner, who literally blossomed alongside Monika. Both of them love luxury and also ordinary things.

Which designers does Monika Koblížková choose?

During the few days that Monika Koblížková spent in Karlovy Vary together with Leoš Mareš, she wore several luxurious outfits from different brands. There were also dresses from such designers as Dominika and Jarka Sedláčková, Beata Rajská, the Poner Duo, Tereza Sabáčková, Valentino from ALIZE Fashion House and also from the stylist Filip Vaněk. It was Monika’s first model and it was a gorgeous luxurious violet dress that was specially created for her. And her mum also presented evidence that Monica has fashion in her blood. Fashion guru Koblížková chose for her an imaginative dress with a pleated skirt that made her look like a lady who moves in higher circles.

JEREMY RENNER or the man who overshadowed Uma Thurman

The biggest star of the film festival, who also happened to arrive last, was the friendly Jeremy Renner, known for his role as Hawkeye in THOR and THE AVENGERS. In spite of injuries of both hands, he arrived to the luxurious Thermal hotel with a smile and offered a number of witty comments with a beer in hand. In the evening, he presented “Wind River”. During the three days he spent in Karlovy Vary, he was always incredibly elegant and calm. The actor, who plays in the most profitable movie series of all time and is often considered a rising star, exerted charm, a human approach and incredible elegance, and in fact overshadowed his actor-colleague Uma Thurman who hosted the opening of the festival. Even though Uma was always very elegant, her arrogance let all her fans down.

CASEY AFFLECK or the man under the sheets

Casey Affleck arrived to Karlovy Vary as a foreign guest and well-recognized stud to present the movie “A Ghost Story”. The actor, who played a sheet for most of his last movie, showed a new image and luxury – in a perfectly fitting suit. Together with Jeremy Renner, he did not exclude his participation in the next year of this luxurious film festival. Since 2008, the festival has traditionally included awardees of prestigious prizes such as Danny DeVito, Harvey Keitel, John Malkovich, Jude Law and Miloš Forman. This year, it included Josef Somr.

JIŘÍ BARTOŠKA or the man loved by probably all women

Known under his nickname “Barťák“, the director of the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, is one of those who would be a dream prize for nearly every woman, and yet his heart belongs to only one. “I like to say that I won my wife Andrea, an archeologist, in the lottery. That’s why I can’t hit any more jackpots,” says the man who is always amongst the most elegant men in the room.

KAREL RODEN or the man with a bewitching stare

(55, České Budějovice, ČR)
One of our best actors who even succeeded in Hollywood. Roden arrived to Karlovy Vary with the team of his last movie, “Little Crusader”. The movie in fact won the prize for the best motion picture in the festival. The actor appeared on the red carpet in a perfectly fitting luxurious suit.
