Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week SS18 (1.-8.9.): we know the venue and we know the fashion designers!
Tickets are already on sale for the most important autumn fashion event, i.e. Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week SS18, which will take place from the 1st to the 8th September 2017. Are you wondering which designers will show up there and where it will take place?
An unconventional space for luxury fashion shows
Fashion shows during the March Fashion Week in Prague were held on the third floor of the Kotva department store. In the autumn however, another venue will welcome the designers and the visitors. How would you like, for example, a tennis court?! The luxury fashion shows will take place outside the tennis stadium on Štvanice and under the wings of the podiums.
12 fashion show blocks will take place in this unconventional space between the 2nd and the 4th September with a total of 19 fashion personalities, luxury brands and school ateliers. Evening animations on Pařížská Street, designer showrooms, the presentation of a fashion book and a number of temporary installations and exhibitions in luxury shops and galleries will also comprise part of the programme. Once again the MBPFW SS18 event will take place under the auspices of the Mayor of Prague, Adriana Krnáčová.
The official champagne will become the luxury brand MUMM. The toast will start this autumn Mercedes Benz Prague Fashion Week on Paris Street at Harper's Bazar Shopping Night # 2.
Whose collections will be on display?
You can look forward to luxurious Spring/Summer 2018 collections from the following designers: Adam Kost, Jan Černý, Petra Ptáčková, Zuzana Kubíčková, Lukáš Krnáč, Michael Kovacik, Miro Sabo, Alter Era, Blažek, Imreczeova, Laformela, which will present man collection for the first time. Designer Zoltán Tóth, the winner of the VAN GRAAF Junior Talent 2017 contest will also be attending and presenting his new collection.
You will have the opportunity to see the new member of MBPFW, Mi Fashion Label, and absolvents of Bunka Fashion Graduate University in Tokyo. There will also be students from the fashion design studio of VŠU.
