The biggest meeting of the comic book fans' took place in Prague
Thieves, villains, sexy warriors and above all superheroes who make our world much better! Or at least in the fictional world it works that way. In our real one, everyone recently had a "gathering" at the O2 Universum. Not only fans of this genre, but also famous actors and comics authors gathered here. LP-life.cz brings you a unique overview of the most beautiful and bizarre costumes that you could come across in the streets of Prague on your way to work over the weekend.
If you travel by public transport frequently, you must have noticed at least one fan dressed up in the costume of your favorite comic hero this weekend. In the subway you could come across Superman, Batman or Joker, for example, several times in a row. No, you were not fooled by sight, nor was there a private themed party somewhere outside Prague. In short, in the last few days people talk of one thing only and thus who was not there as if did not exist.
Abroad it has been held since 1970, in the Czech Republic it was for the first time this year. What are we talking about? About the festival Comic - Con, which is connected not only with comics and computer games, but also with fantasy or sci-fi series, movies and books. An incredible number of visitors – around 23,000, has arrived this year.

“It's great that the Comic-Con took place in our country, I couldn't miss it. I came to see it not only because I was a comic fan, but also because I was wondering if the festival would be on the same level as abroad. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised,”
said to LP-life.cz Martin Cikán, who is a fan and participant of the festival Comic-Con while being disguised for a Superman. According to him, many people like comics because of their diversity.

Good and evil together under one roof
As you can see, there was definitely no shortage of remarkable costumes. You could meet here not only heroes from the popular Star Wars saga, but also more modern heroes, such as Deadpool. Some had thought of their disguises well in advance. Nowhere else could you see a discussion between Batman and Joker or Alien playing board games with ease over a cup of coffee. Of course, the fans show their greatest interest in discussions with well-known actors, such as Ron Perlman, who made his mark among the fans mainly because of the main character in the movie Hellboy.

The whole festival was truly spectacular and not only the eyes of children shone with enthusiasm and amazement. If you are sorry that you missed the Comic-Con this year, don't worry. It will be back in a year and you can use the waiting time to carefully select or even sew a costume of your favorite character.
