We can't imagine anybody on whom this unsightly froggy color would look flattering. The Dior dress isn't actually a terrible piece by any means, quite the opposite, but the only positive aspect of this dress that we can see is that after you've overdone it with booze, your face will match it perfectly after a night spent bent over the toilet.
Gwyneth Paltrow: Neither dressed nor undressed
Gwyneth Paltrow's outfit makes us rather flustered. Because, while the transparent tulle fabric with interesting details is a rather interesting deal, the one thing throwing a wrench in the overall aesthetic is the top part of the dress that comes off like one of those comfortable bras to wear at home, and it isn't even a little bit sexy! We must praise the luxurious Bvlgari jewelry though, it's truly brilliant.
Michelle Williams: Auntie next door
The pale actress Michelle Williams looked like an auntie living next door in her antique-style dress. The hairstyle, minimal make-up and an aura of innocence that the actress chose for the gala did not help either.
Scarlett Johanson: This dress wouldn't look good on anyone!
Scarlet Johanson most likely wanted to cement her status as a sexy icon, but in this dress by Vera Wang she didn't succeed at all. Let's be honest, such a piece wouldn't look good on anyone. This cut is dangerous and in order to keep the dress from dropping down to your ankles throughout the evening, the designer has to make certain changes that don't look good in the end and deform the chest area. And we're asking: Why? Why do Hollywood stars have the compulsion to keep reaching for such pieces?
Kerry Washington: Embarrassment of the night
The 42-year-old American actress should realize that aging can't be stopped and it definitely can't be helped by wearing cheap outfits that look like something off a street corner. The only thing worth praising are the heels by Altuzarra.

The Golden Globes filled with colors and surprises
I couldn't even sleep from how eager I was to find out the results of this year's Golden Globe awards. I wanted to know if any of my favorites won, and, what the celebrities wore, of course. I like to dream about outfits that I can't fit into during Christmas time and that I naturally cannot afford. However, this time I was hoping that considering what's happening in faraway Australia, the VIPs would be more reserved. Or that they'd at least bring attention to the problem of the burning continent...
Red like fire
Nevertheless, that did not happen. Or I didn't see it among all of the Fendi and Louis Vuitton. Last year almost all stars came dressed in black to bring attention to sexual harassment. This year probably only Nicole Kidman, member of the Order of Australia and also an Academy Award winner, came in red.
She gets major kudos from me for that, alongside Scarlett Johanson, even though I don't really find her too attractive as a woman. But the Versace dress that hugs her figure with a slit high up to the heavens I find gorgeous. I didn't find a single flaw on her, not a single one, and I am rather critical!
On the other hand, Scarlett's outfit was a misstep for me. The dress by Vera Wang simply doesn't fit her, she looks like a young granny in it with breasts too far apart. And I'd say she's gained some weight, too, It's not much but it's enough to show, as Pažout from the movie From Subway With Love would say.
Unwrap a late present
On the other hand, the diva and one of the most beautiful women of the Hollywood show business Jennifer Lopez swept me off my feet. One word - gorgeous. This luxurious Valentino dress should be mounted on a pedestal along with her, and all celebrities should regularly come pray to it. I'd come there and scream at the heavens - God, I want to be Jennifer in my next life. I'm positive that every man would love to pull the ribbon and unwrap her like a late Christmas present.

Farm maid style
The red carpet didn't work out for everybody. Poor Gwyneth Paltrow. If I was her, I'd fire my stylist. Like I know that over there the weather's warm all year, but this farm maid style, like I'll show a lot but not really, is just tasteless. She even looks great for her age, so I have no idea why she had to turn herself into this fairy that's come out of a septic tank. On top of that, the necklace would have stood out more on bare skin. This year the actress had clearly been dressed by a blind man.
Anyway, it was nice to look at, I just hope that you didn't forget your wallets. Go ahead and send all the money you'd pay for these overpriced brand clothes and send them to Australia for animals and new trees.
