Russian ruler sets conditions

Russia has submitted a number of conditions to the United States in order to end the occupation of Ukraine. Among them is allegedly a commitment from the West that Ukraine will not become a NATO member in the future and that foreign troops will not be deployed in Ukraine. Iran's Supreme Spiritual Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei claims that his country does not have nuclear weapons and is not seeking them. At the same time, he emphasized that threatening military intervention from the United States is reckless.

Russians set conditions due to war in Ukraine

Russia has submitted to the United States a list of demands that condition the agreement to end the war in Ukraine and the restoration of relations between Moscow and Washington. Among them, Russia included, among other things, the commitment of the West that Ukraine will not become a member of NATO in the future and that foreign units will not be deployed in Ukraine, and also the demand for the international community to recognize Crimea and the four occupied areas of Ukraine as part of Russia, the server Ceskenoviny.czreported. Russian and American representatives discussed Moscow's conditions in personal and online talks over the past three weeks.

Chamenei considers American threats imprudent

According to Iran's supreme spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the offer of the United States to conduct talks about their nuclear program is an attempt to deceive global public opinion. Donald Trump said last week that he had sent a letter to the Iranian leadership, in which he tries to negotiate a new deal with Tehran, which would limit its rapidly developing nuclear program, as stated by Al Jazeera. Iran does not have nuclear weapons and is not striving for them, Khamenei said in a speech to students. Tehran has long claimed that its nuclear program serves only peaceful purposes.

Hamas welcomes Trump's retreat from Gaza mass displacement plan

Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem welcomed the apparent retreat of US President Donald Trump from his proposed permanent displacement of more than two million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. The statement came after Trump on Wednesday said, "no one is evicting any Palestinians from Gaza". Yet, Trump last month proposed that the Gaza Strip be taken over by the United States. The population of the war-destroyed territory was, according to him, to be permanently displaced to live in neighboring countries. Trump's apparent turnabout came after Arab foreign ministers on Wednesday met in Qatar with US envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff, wrote Al Jazeera.
