Travel moves the world and travel moves also the new collection of luxury brand LAFORMELA, which is supported by two designers Miroslava Kohutiarová and Antonín Soukup. Speaking of intercultural inspiration across different eras, LAFORMELA presented its 26 minimalist looks at the Congress Center with a view of Prague.
And what is the new collection like? Awkward! LAFORMELA created the SS20, celebrating the woman, her strength, independence, integrity of opinion, and being able to confront the strongest man without losing any of her fragility and subtlety. But it didn't always succeed.
On some models, we had a lot to do to find the fragile woman behind those unflattering welding goggles, combat boots, or the à la biker scarf!
Wondering where the nomadism is hidden in the collection? Especially in the origin of used materials and cuts. The SS20 uses Japanese cotton, which is used in the manufacture of traditional kimonos or hand-woven black fabric of Parisian origin.
The SS20 also features models evoking the style of samurai or warrior Japanese animé. Some of the models can take you to the Middle Ages by design - they are characterized by narrow cuts, extended sleeves or shirt collars.
Although you can travel almost the whole world with the SS20 collection, it still remains quite a fashion boredom dominated by white and black. As a result, we do not take any feelings away, and you simply do not want it for a fashion show of a leading Czech brand!
But not to be just strict critics, we found one treasure in the SS20. We want this top! We can leave you the trousers. We have no idea what, how and where we are going to wear it, or if we can afford it without having to skip ten dinners in a row, but we want it!
Oh lala! I call that a real spectacle. But the Czechoslovak brand LAFORMELA probably forgot that most people in Europe suffer from overweight or obesity. Like stunts, but apparently only for a specific target, and they are bulimic and anorexic people, although I have no idea what the difference is, because this problem does not concern me.
Although my favorite colors are black and white, it's hard to pick something in this collection. In all of them, I would look like a whale trying to get back to the ocean. And I'm size 38! Even so, I couldn't take any of this without my neighbors fainting and the fashion critics did not pull me off that I really had the courage for my age.
says the main designers Antonín Soukup and Miroslava Kohutiarová and I really appreciate it, but in those bras you really can't feel free. If you are not eighteen and you do not have size 1 breasts.
I still think I have great breasts, but I definitely don't want to show them in public. And no one should. Neither the younger ones, nor the prettier ones. Just no. Nudity is nice in TV and at home. They just don't belong on the street. I imagine myself at a meeting with a boss and I have this top. Maybe I'd get promoted, but maybe fired.
But I should not just talk badly because the authors of the models have certainly done a lot of work with everything, I admit that I like this coat. Perfect for spring and hair returns to fashion both in dress and on the body. And because I certainly will not grow anything anywhere, I have to go with the trends at least in clothing.
I admit, this time my favorites, the winners of the Czech Grand Design Award, disappointed me. The spring collection was completely different, great. Now I feel quite ambivalent. However, I believe that they will certainly get back to front page. It just might not be Vogue anymore...
