This chandelier emanates from the workshop of its designer, Marcel Wanders, and this year in Milan it was introduced directly at the Salone del Mobile. The chandelier itself represents a tribute to the Monarch Louis XIV and its concept alone provoked a high degree of acclaim amongst the visitors. The inspiration for this jewel was the now already iconic Zénith Chandelier, in which the designer was able to instil a totally modern look – i.e. it took the form of a ball of light.
All the top quality Baccarat crystal chandeliers constitute highly luxury goods of the most perfect design.
Marcel Wanders was inspired by the stunning Antique vase that he had designed for Baccarat in 2014. Circa two years later he turned it upside down, hid a rechargeable LED system in it and crowned the whole item with a marble slab. As a result, you can now admire a luxurious table, one that adorns the surrounding area with its captivating light aura.
As a tribute to the French sculptor and painter Aristide Maillol the Baccarat Company instigated the creation of a pure crystal statue that was inspired by one of his works. This is an absolutely charming collector’s item made of 300 pieces, which has not only an artistic but also a real-life collectible value.
