Fashion Weeks are a deluxe world event in the world of fashion. But not just successful models that you would want to wear appear at them. Even though it is par for the course that some items are not wearable, we found collections that remind us of a Wonderwoman costume, models inspired by Borat and other unusual items, which we simply have to show you!
We present to you fashion that you would not want to wear!
Autumn and winter Calvin Klein, Gypsy sport, Marc Jacobs, Chromat and Divamp Couture collections that we give the thumbs down.
Calvin Klein has gone a completely different direction to its previous deluxe collection. The new autumn and winter collection has a lot of mixed styles that certainly don’t go together. Do you like dresses that reveal your breasts, worn with a balaclava on your head? Or what about a baggy long sweater combined with loose trousers? And we won’t even mention the crazy “working” models that actually remind us of clothing for firemen or carpenters. Where would you wear these clothes?
Gypsy Sport again presents controversial shocking fashion that will take your breath away. Not only the style but also the chosen models. The designer who designs this fashion evidently does not consider feminine charm. This collection, which places emphasis on the revealed body, does not actually use that much fabric.
The collection by the popular deluxe fashion house Marc Jacobs presented very interesting fashion for this autumn and winter. If you want to look like a three-tier cake, we certainly recommend these models. Otherwise we think that not many people will buy these items. Or will they?
When we first look at the Chromat FW18 collection we see crazy models of swimsuits and distinctive neon colours. Our first thought: was this collection inspired by models by Borat? To some degree it was. The crazy colours, designs and materials, which frequently show more than they should, look awful in these versions. The neon glasses were cool, but otherwise the overall look is terrifying.
Female armour. This is exactly what a film costume for a sexy warrior would look like in our opinion, but would we want to wear it to an event? Certainly not. The hard dominant corsets complemented by knickers and a crazy mask were certainly inspired by the models worn by well-known warrior Xena or by the Wonderwoman film. Is this a style that would interest you if you were looking for a bold item for an event? Not us!
And we have the famous New York Fashion Week, at which we were also unable to avoid several collections that were worth nothing very much! (I am already looking forward to Prague Fashion Week....hahaha) Well, take a look at what we have first of all. And this is the famous Calvin Klein and his collection with the working title of “stealing costumes from the film “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”. An orange overall of horror or a bleached dress revealing your breasts? The only items that make sense are the balaclavas reminding me of anti-depression pills. And maybe you should take a whole box of them!
Then we have the Gypsy Sport brand. To tell you the truth I initially thought it was some sort of Romani sports team established by Radoslav Banga...In the end it looked like a porn show created by famous heroine Xena. People, you should really delete this from your memory!
And finally there is some brand called Chromat (probably based on the word chroma). I know that it is a great thing to support plus-size models, but it has to make sense! In my opinion the garter aerobic collection bound in ship’s cables humiliates all plump women worldwide. And I won’t even mention that awful makeup combined with the terrible phosphor glasses!
