The Dolce&Gabbana brand launched its FW collection last year with an unforgettable presentation of deluxe handbags using drones with an attached light sphere. This year the designer duo avoided any ostentatious presentation using technology, but this doesn’t change the fact that they scored once again at the world fashion week. Do you want to see the most beautiful show of Milan Fashion Week? Here it is!
The bar was raised very high, but the FW 19/20 fashion show still managed to exceed all our expectations. The Dolce & Gabbana brand created a collection of romantic and sensual models, which it complemented with a touch of men’s elegance. It achieved this by using stylish black tie and suits made from deluxe brocade. It’s simply perfect and we have absolutely no doubt that there will be something for everyone in the newest D&G collection thanks to its balance and wide range of options.
The show of wedding models, which the Italian fashion brand presented 5 of, was the cherry on top of the cake. You can find chic knee-length dresses, unusual midi versions and also classic gowns with a puffy maxi-skirt, in regard to which the brand refrained from any eccentricities, in this range. So onwards to adventure….or to the altar!
The Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana designer duo presented an unbelievable 127 models in Milan! While 5 years ago we were able to view an autumn collection with just half the number of models. If the brand continues at this rate, the next Dolce & Gabbana fashion show will almost certainly be transformed into a feature length film! But if it is as successful as the deluxe FW 19/20 collection, we will be happy to bring some popcorn and lap it up!
That is one possible description for the deluxe FW 19/20 collection by the Dolce & Gabbana fashion house. And what is more there is no lack of my favourite accessories, such as feathered headbands, flowers or classic hats.
The most powerful moment for me was undoubtedly the outfit in which the coat that looked like a portrait from a picture played the starring role. The face of a woman in a mirror, which gradually transitions into gold glitter. Divine!!!! And the black velvet ribbon around the neck – PERFECTION. It reminded me a little of my favourite painting “Woman in Gold” by Gustav Klimt…there is no way I can resist this!
I would also like to mention the deep gold trouser suit embellished with red flowers. The classic black trouser suit will never go out of fashion and is absolutely brilliant. But I wouldn’t be afraid of brighter colours either, such as this gold. An evening cocktail party at the Buddha Bar….it needs a lot of confidence and self-assurance. But if you have these in spades, then go for it
