Moschino FW 19/20: A tide of sexy minis. Your eyes will drop as well!

The newest endeavor of the designer Jeremy Scott will be appreciated not only by lovers of luxury fashion, but foremost by the gentlemen. The FW 19/20 is dominated by sexy minis, stuffed neck-lines or sensual slits, and we all know, that it‘s precisely these elements that draws men like magnets! Will Moschino draw your attention too?

Gold is the new black?
After his successful collaboration with H&M, which was dominated by black and gold, the designer opted again for the royal gold. It appearered, with a few exception, on most models, that Jeremy Scott presented at the Milan Fashion Week. While, on many outfits, gold is the defining colour, on other ones it simply forms a complement to other features and adds a mark of luxury.
HOT x NOT
As usually, even this time we‘ve found a fashion gem embodying the absolute fashion hell. Can you guess, which outfits we have in mind?!
Our favourite is the blue sequined mini dress decorated with a bow around the neck and at the waist. We were absolutely blown away by this piece of beautiful luxury!
What on the other hand didn‘t impress us, were the outfits full of infantile pictures. We would recommend similar outfits for children, however not for yourselves.
Back in time
We also took a closer look at the styling, which the brand Moschino prepared for the Milan Fashion Show. A lot of volume in combination with some of the eccentric outfits took us back in time for ten mintues, and we suddenly found ourselves in the wild eighties. However, we‘re not going to commend Jeremy Scott for that…

If one day at theme parks, you could shoot pearl necklaces instead of paper roses, the sexy girl behind the counter would definitely be wearing a dress from the Moschino FW 19/20 collection.

As is probably already apparent, I‘m not a very great fan of eccentric fashion accompanied by a gallon of hairspray. Bright colours, retro 80. - 90. and a great number of other elements turn this collection into tacky kitsch. For example, the pink pleated evening dress decorated with stones and slits. This is so 2003! I don‘t see any reason to come back to this, and especially when it‘s something that adds on another 10 kilos at the waist.
For the end, we even have a fur coat reminiscent of a typical frozen american dinner, or an evening gown for playing at the slot machines. I think it‘s time that Jeremy Scott was replaced by someone like Virgil Abloh… Louis Vuitton and Moschino, I‘m sure he could handle both. Just think of Karl Lagerfeld. He managed.
