The Mercedes EQC is the first luxury car to emerge from the electric EQ (Electric Intelligence) division, which develops fascinating products, technologies and innovative concepts of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Do not expect anything extravagant. Mercedes-Benz is to keep its attributes also in respect of this unique, fully-electric version. Clean lines, elegance, simplicity and precision, it all still applies.
The luxury car is equipped with 2 electric engines - one for the front wheels and one for the rear. This implies that it is a 4-wheel drive, making it a comfortable and safe partner for off-road as well as slippery surfaces. Its power equals 408 horses, it may go from zero to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, the torque being 765 Nm.
It may be recharged at home by means of a plug, provided it meets the appropriate requirements. Also, on the roads there are to be seen more and more charging stations. The battery will charge from 10% to 80%, in 40 minutes. Per one charge you should be able to make 280 miles.
Mercedes EQC may also be identified at night - blue LED lights, a black background and a blue Multibeam inscription are its unmissable attributes. Another bold element are the great light alloy wheels - the choice is of 19, 20 and 21 inches.
Identically to other Mercedes-Benz vehicles, there is also the most luxurious and sophisticated interior. Gloss black plastics and a screen which is ejected from the dashboard. There are also plenty of stylish incentives which are unique for the EQC - for example the air vents of oblong shape. The interior offers enough space for a 4-member family. The luggage compartment offers 500 litres of volume.
Mercedes-Benz User Experience. It concerns a system of information entertainment, known as ´infotainment´. It offers natural voice control, recognition of gestures and is able to get to know the habits of its owner. This knowledge keeps on developing every step of the way.
The vehicle should be available early on in 2019 and its price will be around 1.6 million Czech crowns.
