Coronavirus... A problem that we didn't consider to be at all dramatic at first, because it didn't concern us. It began on the other side of the globe, and that seemed so far away... A few weeks later, however, everything changed. Just like that, the dangerous virus suddenly became everyone's problem. All at once, the whole world was fighting against a common invisible enemy. Individualism? We must put it aside this time! Celebrities realize that too, which is why they are sending encouraging messages to the public.
Togetherness, solidarity, respect, the desire to help, thoughtfulness, awareness, tolerance, dedication… Social networks are flooded with posts from celebrities appealing to the public not to forget about the most important values that will be crucial in the fight against the coronavirus.
"I have always believed that the Czechs are a sympathetic and cordial nation that can come together when it truly matters. I would like to thank everyone helping in the "front lines" every day, as well as those willing to lend a hand in any way. Any little help can change someone's life. Let's be there for each other,"
model Tereza Maxová posted on her Instagram. Her words are undoubtedly intended for medical workers, policemen and firefighters who put their lives at stake on daily basis, but also for celebrities or regular citizens who sit at their sewing machines without protest, helping with the production of the hard-to-get face maskss.
Model Simona Krainová also stresses the importance of face masks, having added hashtags such as "solidarity" or "protection" to her status on social networks.
"This is our dresscode for a definite (hopefully) period of time. My mask protects you, your mask protects me. ANYTHING is better than NOTHING."
Singer and expectant mother Monika Bagárová also points out that it is necessary to protect not only ourselves, but also others. In her opinion, the best thing one can do is stay at home.
"I believe that we will all get through this difficult time together. Let's be responsible to ourselves as well as to others, respect government regulations and stay at home, if possible! In our family, only one person at a time goes to the store! Chin up, Monika, Mach and our princess sends greetings from the tummy."
Singer Marek Ztracený, who left for vacation just before the outbreak of the epidemic, expressed his support of the public at least remotely.
"I'm reading and following everything that's happening in our country, and even though we are 10,000 km away, in our thoughts we're at home with you. Keep your heads up, and if there's any way we could help from over here... write us, call us. I'm thinking of you!"
On behalf of the LP-Life.cz editorial staff, we would also like to express our support and we second the words of the fresh Czech Lion Award holder Tereza Ramba.
