The Art Centre was created in 1992-1993 on the basis of initiative by a few people whose dream it was to create an international cultural centre in the surroundings of such an extraordinary city as Český Krumlov. Apart from luxury exhibition space, this amazing building is also home to studios, used for study and work stays by young artists from all over Europe and even an apartment for writers. There is also a pleasant café and shop selling books about art, posters and postcards.

Modern works by Swiss artists: until 29 October 2017

You can currently bear witness to an interesting exhibition in the form of modern comic-book art by the creative duo M. S. Sebastian & Isabelle L. The Bastokalypse & Bastomania cycle is the result of collaboration between Swiss artists who have been working together to create works of art for 15 years now. Their luxury paintings and 3D objects are compositions of small figures, reflecting life in the 21st century.

A place made for meditation and calm

A hot air balloon flight above some amazing wonders of nature

This wonderful valley is at its most beautiful from a bird’s-eye perspective and this is why you have the option of taking a hot air balloon flight and soaring above the breath-taking scenery like a bird. The flight starts right in the resort and you will see such gems as Lake Powell, the Navajo mountain range, the vast Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument nature reserve or the beautiful freak of nature known as the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument.

You can travel through this amazing countryside on horseback, discover Lake Powell by kayak and learn a lot of interesting things about the people of the Navajo mountain range. You will fall asleep after a delicious dinner in romantic surroundings full of unusual experiences.

As you see, the desert need not always be an unfriendly place, you just have to give it a chance. And they really have managed to do so successfully at the luxury Amangiri Resort.
