The memorial Karl For Ever, organized by the luxury brands Chanel, Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld, was a celebration of the fashion designer's life and reminded the world of his lifelong achievements.

From the beginning to the end

The walls of the Grand Palais were decorated with black and white as well as color portraits of Karl Lagerfeld, mapping his journey from the very beginning, when he won the international Woolmark Prize as an unknown young designer in 1954, through his work in the luxurious fashion houses Chloé, Fendi and Chanel, to the last years of his life.

Pharell Williams shined on the stage

Part of Karl Lagerfeld's memorial was also a presentation, which pointed out significant moments of his fashion shows, interviews, as well as fragments from his creative work and private life.

Cara Delavingne, Helen Mirren and Tilda Swinton made an appearance on stage during the cerempnial, and singer Pharrell Williams with pianist Lang Lang entertained the guests with their artistic performance.

A catwalk stretching over the surface of pools with thermal springs, an evening scenery perfectly underlined by the ever-present water and the backdrop of mountain massifs. That's what the fashion show in Bešeňová, Slovakia looked like. The musical accompaniment was provided by the beautiful singer Maria Čírová. The luxury spirit of the fashion show, which could be described as Victoria's Secret made in Slovakia, was emphasised by Andrea Verešová, the star of the evening.

Verešová reigned over the other models

The model, who will celebrate her 40th birthday in a year, easily overshadowed models ten or more years her junior with her chiseled figure and cat-like gait.

"I know they say - never say never - but I've decided this will be my last swimsuit show. It's a challenge for me, but I think it's time to hand over the scepter to my younger colleagues,”

Verešová entrusted Luxury Prague Life. During the two-hour show, she wore, among others, a swimsuit by Nela Slováková, who designed the neon piece specifically for this occasion.

“Swimwear are a great commodity that always sells well. I even have orders from England and America. For this occasion, I've designed a special collection,”

said Nela, who combines fabric with a comfortable fashion style.

Andrea charmed the crowd as a sinfully beautiful angel

The show required extensive preparations. At the final parade, the models were decorated with various floral accessories. Andrea presented herself as a sinfully beautiful angel in a swimsuit with wings by Ida Sandor.

Other designers who put their skills on display were Nicollas Berenique, Eva Vontrová, Ida Sandor with Helmet Design and Noemi Braz, Jana Kuriláková and Edyta Jermacz.
