Every little fan of the Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir (Kouzelná beruška a Černý kocour as they are known in the Czech Republic) is sure to love the latest Guess collection. And quite a few adults might as well. The plot of the series seems to come straight out of a romantic film: Marinette, who is in love with Adrien, becomes the masked superhero Ladybug. Adrien, who turns into the Cat Noir, is in love with Marinette. The batch is that they don’t know each other’s real identities. How will this romantic cliché turn out?!
The French-Korean-Japanese animated television series Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir first saw the light on 23 July 2015, when the premiere episode was broadcast on Disney Channel Japan. But the Czech Republic didn’t have to wait long. Young viewers could watch the show as of December 2015, likewise on Disney Channel.
After three years, the series was reworked into luxurious fashion. Guess prepared a limited collection comprising printed cotton t-shirts and sweatshirts, a bubble-gum pink shiny bomber jacket, romantic flowery dresses and blouses, denim shirts, hooded leather jackets and slim jeans.
Nor did Guess forget to create stylish accessories, without which the overall look would be rather incomplete. Your kids can head to school with a luxury backpack featuring a magic logo, and little girls can bring a cute purse in ladybug style to their next garden party.
Although it features fearless superheroes, the luxurious limited collection for children is simply adorable.
And it’s time to restock your children’s wardrobes. It is nothing new that children have a tendency to grow like crazy over the summer, and towards the end of the season we gradually discover that the trousers which still fit at the end of June now look like the famous “Capri” pants donned by Jacqueline Kennedy.
And this is why we have one of the best new children’s collections, this time by Guess in cooperation with the Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir series. Finally, some children’s clothes without the bulging eyes of Mickey Mouse or Shrek. Here, the strength of details plays the leading role!
Of the girl’s collection, I particularly like the pink bomber jacket with embroidered flowers, or the sweatshirt with the sequined “Lucky and Charming” inscription. Comfortable, yet it reminds me of mini version of the sparkly Victoria’s Secret for little girls. In the boy’s section, the obvious winner is the elegantly designed leather backpack and the cool denim shirt. I am a big fan of these shirts, because they survive virtually everything (tested on my own child). So hurray and back to (pre)school!!!
