Petra Pilařová's passion for fashion reached its peak in 2001 when she founded her own clothing brand. Since then she managed to build a strong clientele and, among other things, to create luxury dresses for the Czech Miss contest, including dresses for world competitions. Now she has presented the world with a new wedding collection - see for yourself how talented she is.
The new collection for brides features boho, romantic and even princess dresses. They are designed to be easy to style while following fashion trends. They are characterized by unconventional materials, sophistication, and, above all, femininity.
One of the hot new pieces in the Czech designer's collection is a bathrobe made of the same material as the wedding dress, i.e. lace, silk or satin.
How does Petra Pilařová approach designing clothes for her clients and what is the basis of success in her opinion?
The face of the wedding collection is the Slovak actress Lívia Bielovič, who portrayed one of the main characters of the film Methanol. The film was nominated for a Czech Lion award in the best student film category.
Our favourites include a long-sleeved minimalist dress with a satin skirt and a flower at the waist, as well as a bohemian long-sleeved silk dress with floral chest embroidery. These pretty models are absolutely perfect for a romantic wedding in nature. Gorgeous!
Petra Pilařová is relentless even after launching the wedding collection and is already working on a new collection of ball gowns. For these she imported luxury materials - silk, decorating stones, embroidered tulle or lace from exotic Oman. Looks like we have something to look forward to!
It's the first time that I've encountered the work of Petra Pilařová and I have to say that it is definitely something to look at. Wedding dresses are a tough challenge for every designer, because it is really hard to come up with something new in this industry. But Petra managed decently.
Does it also bother you when the bride takes off her wedding dress just a few moments after the ceremony and puts on something more comfortable? With the work of Petra Pilařová something like this will not happen to you. She has a lot of comfortable cuts in his collection. The flowy long-sleeved dress is a clear proof.
But it's not just the comfort that might interest you in this collection. For me, the A-line dress with a fairly transparent corset is also intriguing. If you have the courage and a smaller bust, go for it!
And to conclude, I should not forget the adorable bathrobe for the bride the next day ... Well see for yourself, wouldn't it be handy for the first married couple breakfast?
