Jayde Fish is a gifted illustrator who lives and works in San Francisco. She studied graphic design at the Academy of Art and her works are known practically the world over. And you know them too if you use Facebook and the cheerful stickers there. This is to say that the cute foxes and cacti are her work.
Jayde Fish posted her graphic designs on Instagram just like most young artists do. Whereas she found inspiration in design and fashion, Alessandro Michele found inspiration in her art. These two worlds were just destined to collide.
Jayde Fish had already been a big fan of the Gucci brand since Alessandro Michele took on the position of creative director. So, when she was contacted to create illustrations for clothing for the new Gucci collection, this was a massive dream come true for her and she didn’t hesitate for a second.
Jayde drew inspiration for creation of illustrations for the Gucci brand from tarot cards and their symbols. She gave the company absolute freedom to use the graphic designs she created as she was certain that Alessandro Michele would create something big. And she says that he did precisely that. Judge for yourselves.
