The new Giorgio Armani SS19 collection was introduced during the Milan fashion week. The show was not as pompous as that of Emporio Armani, and Robbie Williams did not perform this time, but there was still a lot to look at. The luxurious designer introduced a collection full of delicate outfits and gorgeous colors.
The catwalk revealed luxury designs celebrating female silhouettes. Giorgio Armani opted for light fabrics and pastel and soft tones with a touch of gloss evoking sea shells. The designer's subtlety was highlighted with technical materials and daring accessories.
Charming fabrics changing their tones like the water surface were transformed into luxurious maxi dresses, elegant lady suits, refined tops, blouses, or stylish pants complete with charming details. These were featured in the SS19 collection in the form of distinctive applications -– fringes, ribbons and sequins, or chic accessories.
The luxury outfits are complemented by massive necklaces, branded pendants or pastel colored mesh bags. Although the SS19 collection is carried in soft tones – metallic gray, blue, silver and pink, the luxury outfits of Giorgio Armani ultimately reflect women's power and beauty.
The collection is presented in the traditional and elegant spirit of the brand. When something is tried and popular, why change and experiment? We appreciate the courage and creativity of other designers, but the refinement and unmistakable style of Giorgio Armani are immortal.
Which stars did not miss the phenomenal designer's show this time? Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Victoria's Secret Alessandra Ambrosio, or British model Poppy Delevigne.
The Giorgio Armani pastel SS19 collection at first seemed to be celebrating the colorful era of the 1980s. But it's not just the 1980s that were Giorgio's inspiration. I can also see a touch of the fairy tale "The Little Mermaid". Yes, it sounds funny, but what about those necklaces reminiscent of the tentacles of a turquoise octopus or the scaly dress? In short, the good old sea world.
Because I have loved turquoise since childhood, I immediately fell in love with the strapless evening dress covered with turquoise stones and decorated with an elegant ribbon in the chest area. Spectacular earrings, white shoes and wavy hair fine tune the overall impression to perfection. For a fashion show, an important party or simply to an opera at the National Theater. Every woman in such a dress will definitely be the star of the night!
What, in my view, is a big flop, is a pink outfit made up of the delicate raspberry top, beautiful PINK shoes and the totally awful see-through pants from some kind of chiffon. Not only is this type of fabric totally unpleasant to touch, but it also makes you look as if you were walking around in a plastic bag. This really didn't work out...
