The German brand Artega is primarily involved in the construction of sports cars, but this time round the designers took a break and built a luxurious electric quad. It is only a concept, but there have been rumours that everything is ready for serial production, and we can’t wait.
Neither tiny nor huge, but something in between.
The two-seat Artega Karo is a concept car that is ready for mass production. It offers a number of interesting solutions reminiscent of a jet ski. For instance, the leg pockets, which are very practical given that you will often have cold air flowing around your legs. As for size, the quad weighs 320 kg, ranking it among the lighter machines with conventional drive. The shaped leg shields with integrated reinforcements of highly resilient steel optimise safety and protection against splashing water.
Driving features – as one of the many important parameters of the machine
The range of the electric vehicle is only 80 km, but thanks to their small capacity, the Li-Ion batteries charge luxuriously quickly. You will need just 2.5 hours to change and can head out for more adrenaline-filled adventures. The Artega Karo accelerates from 0 to 80 km/h in less than 5 seconds. The racing undercarriage combined with the strength of the electric motor offers a genuine driving experience.
