A 7.1 magnitude earthquake hit Japan. At least 121 wounded have been reported in the Fukushima and Miyagi prefectures. The tremors shook the buildings and caused power outages in hundreds of thousands of buildings. Moreover, many households were left without water. New Zealand has been winning the fight against the coronavirus for many months. Now, the country has reported three new cases of COVID-19, for the first time since the end of January. Secretary Chris Hipkins said the infected people were a couple with a daughter living in Auckland.

At the same time, they are trying to find out how the family caught the virus, so that they can prevent further transmission. The country is on the 1st level in the fight against the pandemic, which means there are no restrictions. For now, they are not planning to change that.
