Dolce & Gabbana and Alta Moda: you have to have courage for these models!
Presentation of the Alta Moda Couture collection is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year. This time the deluxe Dolce & Gabbana House of Fashion shocked with its exclusive show, which took place at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and will be remembered by all those present. No one expected such an opulent collection!

Karlie Kloss opened the show looking like a magical bird
Beautiful model Karlie Kloss was the star of the evening and opened the deluxe show. She walked along the red carpet in a beautiful red dress made from delicate feathers, in which she looked absolutely magical! But the other models were no disappointment either. As well as Karlie Kloss, gorgeous models Ashley Graham, Jourdon Dunn and Naomi Campbell also modelled the deluxe collection.
Motifs of New York, the city that never sleeps
The Italian house of fashion creates wonderful art that is unique. This was confirmed once again when it presented its deluxe Alta Moda spring 2018 collection in New York, which included typical New York motifs, which extravagantly complemented the deluxe dresses, maxi skirts and sequinned material. What do you say to the crown inspired by the Statue of Liberty or the floral headbands?
Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce know how to capture your interest
You can find sequined dresses and dresses made from delicate feathers, stones, beads and embroidery in the Alta Moda spring 2018 collection. Not every woman will be daring enough to wear such unique and opulent dresses full of deluxe details, but it was certainly a show of luxury and distinctive design skill. We liked the combination of several styles – for instance the combination of an elegant silver dress with a khaki parka and a headband with the symbol of the Statue of Liberty.

A show of deluxe art, with no limits!
The wild show of models by the boys from Dolce seemed to whisper in my ear “Too much is too little”! At least that is the impression this collection gave me. To tell you the truth I personally do not like Americanisms pinned to skirts and evening dresses. But I understand that it is a certain form of art and there are no limits here!
I really liked the khaki parka with the fur collar and varied embroidery. Worn with the silver strap heels it is a very stylish outfit for a Friday evening spent clubbing. But I would probably leave some of the Prague clubs out, unless you want to encounter stumbling drunks who pour their drinks over everyone in sight. I may have been under the impression that khaki parkas are a thing of the past, but the Dolce & Gabbana brand has lifted the bar even higher!
And the red feather cockatoo parrot style dress? Not for me, but I am sure that someone like Jitka Čvančarová already has it in her selection for Karlovy Vary. God help us!
I also saw nineties runway star Naomi after a long absence! Unfortunately her botoxed face pumped full of fillers was quite alarming! I think it’s time to pass the baton on to a younger generation....
