Designblok 2017: A Whole Lot of Design at the Prague Exhibition Center! (until 30 October)
The largest festival of design and fashion will begin on 26 October in Prague! And what makes it even more enticing is the choice of its main topic: food. We’re offering a glimpse of what the festival looks like on site – through the lens of fresh photos and a luxurious video.
Can food be combined with design? Young designers will do their best to convince you that this is indeed possible – specifically, in Prague Holešovice, the main exhibition site of Designblok. The installations at the festival are designed by Maxim Velčovský and Veronika Jiroušková.
Luxurious work of 300 designers from 10 countries of the world
The main goal of Designblok is to support young designers in their unique work and also to present these designs to a wide audience. And there’s a lot to look at this year! You can visit stands of over 300 exhibiting designers, fashion designers and jewelers from a total of 10 countries. The unique festival includes fashion shows, theatres and moderated discussions.
Each year, Designblok is extending its offer through the work of designers from a range of fields. This year, aside from fashion, lights, furniture and jewelry we’ll also see toys, books and electronics, all of which can inspire you to create a luxurious environment and enrich your life.
Designblok brings the most important developments from contemporary design
The Diploma Selection section will introduce 30 of the best European master theses, Erste Premier Talent Display on the other hand focuses on your Czech students. Art House introduces industrial design intended for end users as well as luxurious artistic design for collectors.
Don’t miss the unique exhibition of design offered by Designblok.
