A big and flashy event that almost every high school student looks forward to ever since his or her first year of study. Do you remember yours? What was it like? If it were to take place now, what would you change or do differently? Less alcohol, more dance? Or would you be able to defy your mother and tell her that you wouldn't wear her old dress which she'd been keeping in the closet for you for 18 years? At the Czech-Slovak Ball, which was held in the Municipal House, we asked our celebrities the same question. Their answers will be a pleasant surprise for you.
Andrea Verešová kickstarted her career already as a teenager, which is why she was juggling a heavy workload while her classmates were arguing about the decorations and the program of the ball. It was already the eleventh hour, when she arrived at her prom night directly from France.

"Thanks to having won the Elite Model Look competition, I spent the last year of my study in France and had an individualized study plan. I arrived directly from the airport and had to change into my dress in a hurry, it was all an epic rush. Unfortunately, I don't have the event associated with any kind of great or unique experience. As they say, it is not the destination so much as the journey - and this saying seems to be truly universal",
the Slovak beauty thought back to her high school days. Unlike her, presenter and model Gabriela Lašková thoroughly enjoyed her prom night. According to her own words, the ball was beautiful and she wouldn't change it for anything.
"It was full of these slightly teenage moments of heartbreaks and expectations. Probably for the first time in my life, I wore a beautiful princess dress and it was a one-of-a-kind experience for me. I wouldn't mind repeating it - minus the graduation exam,"
Gabriela told us with a dreamy expression.

Leona Machálková, who studied at a grammar school in Přerov, recalled her prom night in very bright colors.
"I wore a lilac dress with balloon sleeves and I was accompanying my class professor. I remember that we were out until the early morning hours, it was amazing. I plan to return to my high school in the near future, they invited me to sing as a guest at the anniversary of the grammar school, which is great. I'm really looking forward to it,"
the singer concluded.
