The biggest award at the Golden Globe was by drama, Bohemian Rhapsody
The film and television award, Golden Globe, is awarded every year in January by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The 76. awards ceremony took place on January 6th in Beverly Hills. The blockbuster of the year, Bohemian Rhapsody, was of course among the nominated films, which fought for victory. Rami Malek, the leading role actor had a chance to win himself. The expectations were fulfilled, and both film and actor won the main awards!
First actor to win an award was Michael Douglas (74)
He gained the award for best comedy actor for his performance in the TV series, The Kominsky Method. It is his third award out of the total of nine nominations.
The largest number of nominations were received by the political comedy, Vice, which however managed to transform only one into an actual award. The romantic film, A Star is born, in which Lady Gaga dazzled as co-author of the song, also had quite a chance to win. It managed to win an award.
