Berlin, Florence and Dubai: January in the spirit of luxury fashion
Berlin Fashion Week
This relatively new project which takes place against a backdrop of the Brandenburg Gate is sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, a traditional sponsor of other fashion shows too. Visitors will be able to see luxury creations by fashion designers such as Dorothee Schumacher, Ewa Herzog, Fyodor Golan, Emre Ernemoglu and others.
The campaign was created in collaboration with the photographer Vitali Gelwich and the Berlin-based stylist Julia Quante. The face of the campaign is the model Sophia Wassermann who is dressed in exclusive items by designers from Berlin. Berlin Fashion Week will be taking place from 17 until 20 January.
Berlin Premium
We can also look forward to Berlin Premium in Berlin, a fashion trade show which has already existed for 12 years. You will be able to admire 1,500 different collections in the hall of Station Berlin over an area of 20,000 m². The project offers a cross-section of the best brands and their products. Jewellery will be on display, as will men’s and women’s clothing, accessories and sports collections. Berlin Premium will be held from 17 until 19 January.
Pitti Immagine Uomo - Florence
The fashion world will flood into the Italian city of Florence from 10 until 13 January. The latest trends for spring and summer from Italian designers and fashion designers from all over the world will be on show here. Apart from established brands, new rising stars in the world of fashion will also be showcased. Among the designers whose designs are most hotly anticipated are Humberto Leon from Kenzo, Maison Kitsuné from Paris or Carol Lim. Pitti Immagine will be taking place at Stazione Leopolda, which is the first railway station in Florence and which is also becoming a popular venue for other interesting exhibitions relating to culture, the arts and contemporary lifestyle.
Dubai Shopping Festival
This annual fashion event held in Dubai from January until February is the longest of its kind as it already starts on 26.12.2016 and runs until 28.1.2017. The festival is intended for all those who long for luxury fashion. Over a period of more than thirty days, you can see collections by top fashion brands from all over the world here. The event also includes cultural and artistic projects such as the International Festival of Fashion Photography from Cannes or The Diamond Fashion Show where you can admire luxury items of jewellery by Dhamani.
