Which direction will development of the car industry be taking in the future? Although some designers have already made clear their intentions in the form of unique flying cars, it will be a long time yet until things like this are integrated into regular traffic. But something which certainly is a trend, and one we can already see on the roads, is electric cars.
The Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e electric cabriolet is equipped with wireless induction charging which you need a special charging platform for. A conventional socket is however also available. Electric cars generally have a range of approximately 200 km on one charge despite the fact that the manufacturers talk of much greater distances.
This is an extremely remarkable concept which is however more of a study and vision of the future things to come out of the Bentley workshops than a real luxury car which we could soon see on our roads.
Nobody will be surprised by the luxurious materials in the interior such as high-quality leather, not only on the upholstery, wood and polished metal. An OLED display is a wonderful dominant feature in the centre console, this being used to control the navigation, air-conditioning and multimedia system. The driver can add a performance boost from the electric motor or limit speed in town with a mere touch of a button on the steering wheel.
Each and every fan of luxury cars will surely already stop to catch their breath the very first quick glimpse they get of this unique car. Technologies in all sectors are progressing very fast, sometimes quicker than we are able to taken in. So, is it possible that only these fragrant cars will be racing around our roads in 10 years’ time? Who knows. But one thing is certain – we have a lot to look forward to in the automobile industry!
